Nocturne Kit
This is a deeply special kit, created with vintage textiles and handwoven fabrics—some of which have been artisanally spun and woven on traditional handlooms. It has taken me a long time to put this kit together because, as you will see, every fabric included inside is truly unique and one of a kind.
The kit features my original embroidery templates so you can replicate the exact stitches and appliqués from my piece. For the entire original artwork, I worked exclusively using the simple running stitch.
How to create your piece:
Use the large piece of fabric as your canvas base.
Arrange and layer the different textiles however you like. I have curated this selection with great care so that the fabrics closely match those from my own work. Because I love working with vintage and repurposed materials, no two pieces are ever identical, but every fabric in your Nocturne Kit stays entirely true to the spirit of the original piece.
You will also find a full-color photograph of the original artwork inside the kit to inspire you as you bring your own creation to life.
The kit includes a 50 x 38 cm base and a collection of 13 fabric pieces, plus thread.
